Then God said, let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens.     

     Welcome to our aviary.  We are a small private aviary taking special interest in the rarer birds, their genetics and color mutations.  We continually strive to increase the quality of our babies.

     We started with two pair of cockatiels in 1988, and after raising our first clutch of babies, the bird bug hit.  Having studied genetics in college, I love breeding birds with color mutations.   Over the years, we have bred everything from Finches to Macaws.  All babies are handfed from 14 days of age.  They all are banded with closed, traceable bands, and DNA sexed.  They are well socialized to ensure they make the best pets possible.  We hold back our own babies for future breeding pairs.  

    Our baby parrots include White Bellied Caiques (our favorite birds & specialty), Jardines Parrots, Meyers Parrots, Senegal Parrots, and Amazons.

     We've have decided to take a break from breeding the smaller birds.  We have a great love for the Caiques and have focussed more on their breeding.  These birds are true gems!
